The Last Dinner Party | Tuesday, April 7 | The Anthem, DC | $58+ | This British band fuses indie with both pop and rock elements. They will be touring for the release of their new album, “From The Pyre.”
Sting | Thursday, May 21-Saturday, May 23 | 8 p.m. | Filene Center, Vienna | $66+ | Catch the legendary artist Sting at this beloved outdoor venue.
The Head and the Heart | Sunday, July 26 | 8 p.m. | Filene Center, Vienna | $55 | You may know songs like “Rivers and Roads” and “Honeybee” — don’t miss this band coming to NOVA this summer. The beloved band Wilderado will be the opener.
Tim McGraw: “Pawn Shop Guitar Tour 2026" | Saturday, Aug. 15 | 7 p.m. | Jiffy Lube Live, Bristow | $40+ | Tim McGraw is a multi‑award-winning American country music singer known for songs like “Live Like You Were Dying” and “Don’t Take The Girl.”
More restaurant weeks are on the horizon. Mark your calendars for the Fairfax City Restaurant Week and the Vienna Restaurant Week, which run from Feb. 27 to March 8. I’m eyeing Ned’s New England Deck.

The popular DC spot Grazie Nonna is expected to set up shop in Arlington’s Ballston neighborhood on the first floor of 4075 Wilson Blvd. The neighborhood is already home to the sandwich shop Grazie Grazie, and now Grazie Nonna will offer a more full-service Italian spot. Looking to make new friends or join a walking group? Simona Cafe in Arlington offers a walk club every Sunday at 9 a.m., starting Feb. 22. Plan to meet across the street at the National Capital Bank parking lot and walk for about 45 minutes.
Opening
This is fore my golfers. Club Champion, a golf club fitting store, is coming to Alexandria. It’s the seventh Virginia location and is expected to open at the Alexandria Commons shopping center in early March. (ALXnow)

The Virginia Department of Health is recommending that people avoid contact with the Potomac River after a recent sewage spill; however, there’s currently no concern about drinking water. (ALXnow, The Hill)
Closing
After three decades, Rhodeside Grill in Arlington will close its doors on Saturday, Feb. 21. The closure is attributed to a redevelopment project that will turn the site into a seven-story apartment building with retailers on the first floor. See the owner’s statement. (ARLnow)

Legacy
Oscar-winning actor Robert Duvall, known for his roles in movies like “The Godfather” and “Apocalypse Now,” died at 95 on Sunday in his Middleburg home. Fun fact: Duvall attended Episcopal High School in The Plains. (CNN)
