Note: All times listed are brunch-only.
Quick and easy
De Clieu | All day every day | Craving a breakfast sandwich on a Tuesday (gasp) at 4 p.m. (double gasp)? De Clieu has your back — pair your choice of sandwich with a matcha blossom latte or coconut mocha.
Call Your Mother Deli | All day every day | It’s all about the signature bagel sandwiches at this deli with several eye-catching locations in NOVA. We can’t stop eyeing the Horizon: An everything bagel with mashed avocado, Fritos, pickled veggies, and jalapeno.

Patio dining
Virtue Feed & Grain | Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | Whiskey lovers, rejoice — this renovated former grain warehouse is known for its wide selection, which we recommend pairing with a Chesapeake benedict. Pro tip: Bring Fido along for brunch on the patio and treat them to pupsicles + apples off the pooch menu.
Ada’s on the River | Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. | Pair your stunning view of the Potomac with some lemon ricotta pancakes and the extremely popular Maine lobster omelette.
Fontaine Caffe & Creperie | Saturday-Sunday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. | This cafe’s brunch menu is small but mighty, offering signature dishes like a cold-smoked salmon and avocado tartine. Or, of course, you can opt for one of its famous crepes; we’re partial to the Moroccan, which pairs spinach + feta cheese with mint-yogurt sauce.

The best part about bottomless brunch at Palette 22: You don’t have to choose between sweet and savory.

For a special occasion
Matt and Tony’s | All day every day | According to rave reviews on Yelp, the cornflake crusted French toast absolutely lives up to the hype. When they ask if you want to add crispy chicken, say yes.
The Majestic | Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. | This local staple has been perfecting its menu since 1932. Your day can’t go wrong when you start it with the oxtail baklava and a crab + roasted corn omelette.
Josephine | Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. | Pretend you’re in France for the morning at this très chic, vintage-inspired brasserie. If you really want to impress (or scare) your brunch date, it even has escargot on the menu.
Alara | Saturday-Sunday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. | This new brunch hot spot offers modern takes on cuisine from Turkey, Greece, and the Levant region — make sure you don’t leave without trying its signature shakshuka.

Although Founding Farmers is one of the newer brunch additions to the NOVA area, by the looks of its eggs benedict, it’s certain to be one of the most delicious.
