The Wolf Trap: Filene Center, Vienna | Known as the only national park that’s also for the performing arts, this venue hosts a diverse range of performances, from renowned artists like John Legend to tribute shows and National Symphony Orchestra performances.

Jiffy Lube Live, Bristow | Guests can explore a variety of food and drink options, including several beer gardens scattered throughout the grounds, at this outdoor concert venue that delivers a festival-like atmosphere. Even better — parking is free.

Lubber Run Amphitheater, Arlington | Famous for its summer concert series, this stage hosts a wide range of free performances, including family-friendly shows perfect for children.

Intimate spaces

The State Theatre, Falls Church | Enjoy the convenience of this music venue that offers free on-site parking and is located just steps from the East Falls Church Metro station. Pro tip: The venue also has a full-service restaurant for you to take advantage of.

Jammin Java, Vienna | This intimate concert venue showcases a rich variety of live music, from up-and-coming local talent to renowned touring artists. Whether you’re in the mood for a laid-back evening or a high-energy show, you’ll find the perfect blend of performances here.

Tally Ho Theater, Leesburg | Opened in 1931, this venue was originally built as a Depression-era movie theater. Aside from seeing a concert, you can also host your own event here.

The Birchmere, Alexandria | Originally opened as a restaurant, but began to feature music in the mid-1970s to boost business. Did you know? Icons like Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, and Emmylou Harris have performed here.

Hylton Performing Arts Center, Manassas| Immerse yourself in performances by distinguished groups like the Manassas Ballet and the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra.

The Anthem, DC | Located on The Wharf, this beloved music venue is conveniently located near the Waterfront and the L’Enfant Plaza metro stations; however, you can also get there via water taxi, Capital Bikeshare, or rideshare, and parking is also nearby.

Capital One Hall, Tysons | If you’re looking for a top-notch venue to enjoy an orchestra performance or ballet, this is an excellent choice. Its various stages include the Main Theater, Vault, Atrium, and Rooftop Perch.

Nationals Park, DC | Many concerts take over this open, outdoor stadium outside of baseball season, including Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, and The Lumineers.

EagleBank Arena, Fairfax | Located on George Mason University’s campus, this venue hosts a variety of events from concerts to Disney On Ice.
