Let’s talk budgets. While they can be confusing and intricate, we’re here to make them easier to understand.
Today’s focus — how you can get involved and share your thoughts with local officials.
Arlington
Arlington residents will have the opportunity to participate in a public budget hearing on Tuesday, March 24 to share their feedback.
If you can’t attend the meeting, but still want to share your feedback, send an email to CountyBoard@arlingtonva.us.
Fairfax City
The final budget will be adopted on Tuesday, May 5 — you can give feedback through that date.
Alexandria
If you’d like to make comments or attend future work sessions for the budget, visit this webpage for more information.
We hear you asking. What are the total budgets, and where’s the money being used?

It’s currently expected to open in the fall of 2027. (Northern Virginia Magazine)

March is Women’s History Month, a dedicated time to celebrate the achievements of women throughout US history. Here in NOVA, many libraries are honoring the occasion with movie showings, history lessons, craft sessions, and more programming. I’m excited for the showing of “On the Basis of Sex” at the Barbara M. Donnellan Auditorium.
