Out with the old and in with the new. The Kingstowne Community Library in Alexandria closes its doors on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. But don’t worry, it will be coming back with a refreshed look in a new spot.
Dates to know
New holds will be held for pick up until tomorrow, Feb. 4. The last day to pick up both new and old holds will be Friday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. Learn more about the upcoming closure.
Note: All Kingstowne Library due dates have been moved to Wednesday, April 15.
New location information
The new Kingstowne Regional Library is expected to open this spring at the emerging Franconia Governmental Center. The site is located between Beulah Street, Silver Lake Boulevard, and Interparcel Road, just south of Manchester Boulevard and a short distance from Kingstowne Towne Center.
