The Allman Betts Band | Monday, Dec. 8 | Capital One Hall, Tysons | This Southern rock group was formed by the sons of Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts, which is where the group’s name originates from. They add a modern twist to the legacy of the Allman Brothers Band.
Bird and Byron | Saturday, Dec. 20 | Jammin Java, Vienna | Childhood friends Blake Bergere and Nick Lorenz have come together to form this Nashville-based duo. Don’t miss them on their “Steadyrock Dreamers” tour.
There will be an open house about the planned expansion of Green Valley’s Drew Park on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Drew Community Center. Community members will be able to provide feedback and learn more about the future of the area. (ARLnow)
