Scenic rolling hills of Shenandoah National Park.

The hike was totally worth this view. | Photo by NOVAtoday

Did some much-needed grass touching this past weekend with my first visit to Shenandoah National Park. My friends and I hiked up to Mary’s Rock Summit — a 3.7-mile round trip with about 1,210 ft of elevation gain. This also gives me yet another excuse to plug our hiking guide + fall foliage guide, because the two go hand in hand this season.
