It’s easy to eat farm-to-fork in NOVA, because our farmers markets are simply un-beet-able.

In the spirit of supporting all things local, we’ve rounded up eight farmers markets in the NOVA area where you’ll find fresh food, live music, and local vendors.

FRESHFARM Arlington Market | Saturdays, year-round | 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Parking: There is free parking by the Arlington Courthouse Plaza Shopping Mall.
  • Space: Outdoors
This is a huge market with over 50 vendors curated by farmers and producers. You can buy items like farmstead goat cheese and pastured bison from locals.

Old Town Farmers’ Market | Saturdays, year-round | 7 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Parking: Head to the Market Square Parking Garage for a free spot from 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
  • Space: Outdoors
  • Pets are not permitted at this market.
One of NOVA’s more popular markets, this market also offers the SNAP dollar program, which means you’ll receive an extra $20 in SNAP dollars every time you shop here.
