Opening Day for the Washington Nationals is coming up on Thursday, March 27, and our stomachs are already growling.

Of the 11 new restaurants and suppliers for the Nats, several are based right here in Northern Virginia. The restaurants competed among 23 total DMV businesses in this year’s Pitch Your Product showcase to earn their spot at the concessions table, proving that NOVA’s foodie scene can be just as competitive as DC’s.

Check out where you can find the local spots at the stadium + what they’ll be serving.

  • Lucky Danger, Arlington | Section 238 | This Chinese-American restaurant that the New York Times called “more than just takeout” will be serving items like veggie lo mein, orange chicken bites, and dumplings.
  • Taqueria Picoso, West Alexandria | Section 117 | Tacos and tortas are the name of the game — we’re crossing our fingers that the restaurant’s vegan chorizo and potato tacos make it onto the stadium menu.
  • Kam & 46, Arlington | Section 105 | Grab items like tuna tartare nachos or kalua pork sisig nachos from this modern Hawaiian and Filipino spot.
  • Phowheels, Arlington | Section 140 | This Vietnamese spot started as a food truck, but it now has locations in both DC and Arlington.
