Smell that? Notes of lavender and balsam exude from Arielle Shoshana, a new perfume shop at 313 Cameron Street in Old Town Alexandria, which offers a curated selection of one-of-a-kind perfumes.
Editor Ava, here. After smelling the seven scents in their line, each named after a day of the week, I was most drawn to “Friday,” with notes of honeysuckle, grapefruit, and crushed leaves.
The store originally opened back in 2015 in Fairfax’s Mosaic District. However, owners Arielle Shoshana Weinberg and Katri Haas thought this beautiful location — with a garden in the back — was better suited to their needs.
Their overarching goal, aside from providing you with a unique scent, is to create experiences — from intimate parties to garden weddings, and everything in between. “Perfume is such a luxury; the experience should feel that way too,” Haas said.
