Restaurant Roundup

🍴 New month, new restaurants

Looking for the next restaurant hitting NOVA’s food scene? Check out these buzzy places that just opened in Northern Virginia — plus, some spots coming soon.

Nettie’s Tavern, 2854 Wilson Blvd., Arlington | Appalachian + Italian
This new restaurant boasts a seed oil-free kitchen, serving dishes from spicy vodka rigatoni to a 14-ounce ribeye in cabernet sauvignon gravy. Personally, I’m hankering for the limoncello panna cotta for dessert.

Luna Hall, 8201 Greensboro Dr., McLean | Food Hall
Luna Hall, a food hall located in DC + Maryland, has officially launched in Tysons with both a Tous les Jours and a Dumpling District location. This new food hall will be adding more spots, including Takumi and Pelicana Korean Fried Chicken.

Roggenart Bakery Cafe + Bistro, 12130 Sunset Hills Rd., Reston | Cafe
This spot opened its new RTC West location today, at 10:30 a.m. I’ll be ordering the smoked salmon omelette with an iced coffee.

The Wrap

Today’s edition by: Ava Wojnowski

I always keep my promises. Take a look at all of the dishes I had the opportunity to try at Ambar. My friend and I were ambitious and ended up dining on 10 dishes, plus two desserts. My top two were the chicken skewers and the cauliflower.
