America’s best neighborhood is in Arlington

We already know NOVA is the best place to live, but don’t take our word for it; several neighborhoods across Northern Virginia were featured in Niche’s 2025 list of the Best Places to Live in America.

The Ballston Business Improvement District 2025 annual meeting is on Wednesday, June 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. Meet at Regent House to discuss big projects in the area, honor community partners, and go over future plans for Ballston.

Alexandria’s Board of Architectural Review will look at plans tomorrow about the partial demolition of Big Wheel Bikes’ property in Old Town Alexandria. The current plan is for a new taco restaurant to take over the location. (ALXnow)

Festival
The Old Town Alexandria Arts + Crafts Fair is Saturday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Waterfront Park. Entry to the fair is free, with over 80 local + regional artisans showcasing and selling their work. If you’d like to help out, they are also seeking volunteers.

The Civitan Open Air Flea Market is back in Arlington this Saturday, June 7. Head to 15th + Quincy Street to shop for items ranging from clothing to jewelry.
